I made this child’s rocking chair for a silent auction at our church. I got the plans from Rockler and the main chair is made of cherry. The eyes, nose, and arm supports walnut dowels and the snout is hard maple. Made one for our granddaughter’s first birthday and she loves it.
Thanks for looking.

Very nice Jerry. Oh do I remember making a few of those for the Grandkids and to sell as well. I like the way yours turned out

Very cute rocker. I made a different style Teddy Bear rocker for each of my GDs and they love them. Grandkid projects are the best!

I built one 10+ years ago that still sits proudly in my living room even though my kids have about outgrown it. I also made one for my nephew. These chairs are so solid they should last forever.. I did mine in white oak, yours looks great in Cherry!

Rockler has discontinued the plans for this chair. Any chance I can get a copy?

Since Rockler has discontinued this project, does anyone have a copy of this? Would love to make it for Christmas.

Great looking chair. I want to make a few for Christmas. My only issue is I can’t find the plans anywhere. Does anyone have access to the plans that I could have or buy? I know Rockler used to have plans for this, but they no longer have them available.
Any help would be great. I can probably recreate the plans from all of the pictures, but why recreate what someone has already done so well.
Thanks
Scozzman
