Built and donated a hairpin leg coffee table for the local non-profit coffee shop and training center.

Table is built from 4/4 red oak to match the other woodwork in the bar at their request. Added a 10 deg bevel to the edges and finished it with several coats of H. Behlen Tung Oil cut with mineral spirits.

Not a real complicated project, but I like how it turned out.

Looks great!
Do you have a pic of what’s underneath?
How did you build the top? simple glue? or with some kind of reinforcement?
how wide are the boards?

I used #20 biscuits and glue, nothing fancy.

Underneath I used 3 flattener cleats, one at each end and one in the middle (3/4 oak) across the boards to keep it flat.
