First and foremost this is not my idea. Second, i’m sorry if you have seen this before. Third not sure if this is a project just thought others might like to see it.

It was in Wood magazine in September 2013, by a gentleman named Bill Wells in Olympia, Washington. It is simply a plastic square shaved down on one end and then placed a an insert nut into your own crosscut sled on your table saw.

I cut the back side with a flush cut saw. Drilled two holes and bob’s your uncle. It works like a charm. Saves the trouble of building a new sled.
