My wife saw these cooler stands on Pinterest. I found one here on LumberJocks. Thank you MoreWoodPlease for your inspiration. Steve Ramsey encourages us to use paint. I love working with free pallets.
We need to remember that pallet wood is not necessarily suitable for high end projects. This cost me $4 to make: $3 for hinges and $1 for the yard sale cooler.
You have to build the stand to fit your cooler. I left some room for a larger cooler. I left the bottom short to allow water from the melting ice to drain. I left a round drain hole for the same reason.
Our office handyman had many part cans of corporate red (cranberry?).
This was a fun project.

-- Fingers are a poor substitute for a push stick.

It looks good, the legs are cool and like the red color. Great job and creative use of pallets.
