Got on to a bit of a spoon kick…

Made these at the NJ State Fair a couple of weeks ago whilst hanging out with the Jersey Hills Woodcarvers.

Second picture is a hook knife I made to rough them out.

Third picture is a pair of salad tongs.

Overall, I’ve made 3 or so dozen spoons this summer. A few are even worth keeping.

Nice! Spoons are more complicated then they appear.

Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby bear….. nice set of spoons!

-- I just got done cutting three boards and all four of them were too short. (true story)

Great carving on those wide and great selection of spoons. Cool shapes and forms.
