This is my second attempt at making a segmented bowl.

The base and top rings are Cherry with the main body in Curly Maple. The feature ring is made up from alternating Cherry and Honduran Mahogany pieces with thin black veneer for the accents. The center medallion is also solid Cherry. I used gloss lacquer straight from the spray can for the finish.

The finished bowl is 7” in diameter, 4-1/2” tall, and consists of 109 individual pieces.

Again, comments are welcomed. Thanks for looking. :)

Beautiful bowl I love the curly maple in there, and the shape of the bowls base is nice. Great job on this turning.
I just finished my second segmented bowl, and really enjoyed building it.

I saw your bowl Bill, it really came out great! That is actually what reminded me that I had never posted this one. :)
