Special frame for a special picture of a special customer’s special car. I might have gone a little overboard on this one. BMW sent him an artist’s rendering of the car that was made while it was still a glimmer in the designer’s eye. Curly maple and cherry. I can’t believe the mat stayed together throughout the finishing…it was only 1/16” thick!

That’s one spectacular frame! Actually, I’m far more impressed with the frame than the picture. Give me the real car and the choice might be different! LOL

Sweat job. If you don’t mind me asking, did you dye the maple?

Just clear shellac and paste wax.
