Ned, those are awesome. The figuring on the first one is just incredible. Fantastic job on the crosshatch end grain. The juggling end grain on the last one rocks! Well Done.

Thanks Mark!
I made several small 6” or so long ‘one board’ cheese boards. Basically plane down a single board to thickness, flip up on end & glue back together, etc…
all walnut.
maple and walnut
took the scraps from several boards, and made some small mixed boards… again cheese board size.

Thanks guys, they sold ‘well enough’... I have a few orders to fill now, plus I’ve sold a couple of other boards since the show. I’m about to get into production mode again, my wife has us booked into several shows this fall, and I’m running low on stock. Just got a call from my lumber supplier, and will be picking up some more black walnut later today… to go with the yellowheart and jatoba I bought last weekend.

Great looking boards! Like the cool patterns and wood combo. Your finish really made the grains stand out.

Bo (or should I call you fish?)... simple mineral oil (in case you want to duplicate the finish).

Walmart sells the mineral oil in their pharmacy section for about 3$ per bottle. Great price for food safe mineral oil. Just don’t drink it, its a LAXATIVE.
