Alright, so this cedar tree grew over this rock once upon a time, then something happened and it ended up washed up on a beach as driftwood. Flipped it over, cleaned it up a bit and voila, plant stand!
-- How it happened that Mastro Cherry, carpenter, found a piece of wood that wept and laughed like a child.

nice to see that I am not the only one who does stuff with stumps. I mill mine up for the figured wood in them. Time consuming sure, but the grain patterns are soooo worth the effort!
