I think that at one time or another, we all have not had enough money to get what we need. Hence the name. I was in need of a small car. I found the right car, but didn’t want to pay what the seller was asking. Through the course of the conversation, I mentioned that I was a woodworker. I had shown him pictures of my end tables that were still on my phone and offered to make him something plus x-amount of dollars for the car. He said that he didn’t need anything right now. Later that night , he called back and had said he told his wife about the end tables and she told him that they could use a new coffee table. He actually lowered my offer by 50 bucks! Done! I sent him a few drawings in Sketchup, he okay d them and off to the shop.

This table is basically a companion piece to my end tables. Wood is cherry with biscuits joints on the top and dowels for the stretchers. Finish is also the same. He has small children, so I tried to make it “kid friendly” and still give it a high end look. Hope he likes it.

It’s a classy coffee table! The cherry and finish are beautiful. Like the wood and glass combo of the top. I’m sure he likes it.

Have your say...
