I enjoyed making this piece. Show material is cherry. Interior spices is poplar. Drawers are hand cut dovetails. My first attempt at ball and claw legs. Had a lot of fun. Took my time and I learned how to work the wood as the grain changed. Keep those chisels sharp! I have done a fair amount of carving so this was the next step. I was pleased with the outcome.

Amazing piece of furniture, excellent craftsmanship. Great work on the carving, beautiful. This will become a family heirloom for sure. You may have to duplicate this so your chidren don’t have to decide who gets this one.
