This box was interesting to cut. I like using Koa and since it grows here in Hawaii, I try to use it allot. Fun wood cut work with. This box is over 5” deep. About 13” tall.

Neat design- I like it. And I like Koa. Some of my best boxes were made from dark curly Kao. Figured like figured maple.

Thought I’d commented on this project when I favorited it, but don’t know what happened. So, my comment is that this is a very unique and attractive design which you have done a fine job in crafting. I like it!

Nice Box Larry, I’ve heard this box design referred to as Mother and Child.

Hi Larry, Congratulations on a wonderful piece. Great timber, design and craftsmanship.
Well done.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
