The second toy box that I made for a co-worker. Made from walnut and mahogany. The finish is Tung oil. Its a combination of a couple of other hope chest that I have made in the past.

Beautiful chest Brian, very well made. A Hope Chest yes…but it looks too nice for a toy box.

very nice work on all the details…. from the feet, to the miters, to the name plate. it may suffer some bumps and bruises along the way, but she will enjoy that for years to come!
