When my family moved into our new house we had a nice entry space, but no bench to put there. We also had an old kitchen table with 2 leaves that we didn’t need, so I decided to turn it into a bench. I planed them down and used one for the bench top and one for the legs and front apron. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough for an apron in the back, but that’s the side that sits against the wall so, no one knows except my family… And now you. Do me a favor and don’t tell anyone!

Nice use of something that would not otherwise be worth anything.

Well done. Great use of repurposed material. Benches are one of my favorite kind of projects.

Great giving new life to an old furniture. Your bench looks great and sturdy. Great job on the functional build.
