I have finally finished my home made chisel set. I had the intention to make 5 chisels in the most common sizes.
Sizes are: 6, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm (1/4, 3/8, 5/8, 3/5 and 1 inch).

Chisels are grinded out of O1 tool steel flatbar. Heat treated at a professional heat treatment shop. I have turned the handles myself from self harvested wood (walnut, cherry and Laburnum)

Check out my other shop made tool projects, I am thinking about the idea of starting a small production for sale…

It is a tight market to get into, but if you offer a quality product without over pricing you may do well. A lot of the tools on the market today are priced beyond the budgets of the average woodworker.

Wow, very fine work sir. Great additions to your collection. I believe you would do well in soliciting commissioned pieces or offering limited batches. Keep it fun as production could harm passion.

Hell Yeah!! Cool idea and I hope everything works out for you.
What price do you intend to place on your product?

Looking beautiful.
Nothing like using tools we made our self.
