Solid maple medicine cabinet and bathroom vanity with a clear satin lacquer finish. Client is going to attach the knobs once both are installed. The wood top is sealed in Krystal to make it waterproof. There is also a 3.5” back and side splash.

Very nice. Everything should be sealed due to the humidity in a bathroom.
Please give more info on “Kristal” what kind of sealing is it that does not darken the piece?

Great job!!! I love the clean lines and color choice for your legs on the vanity. This will look wonderful with a clear lacquer finish because maple is a natural beauty!

Krystal is a product from ML Campbell. This is their description:

Krystal is a new generation of post-catalyzed conversion varnish finishing system that offers the ultimate in durability. Krystal’s high solids, water white, non-yellowing formula was specifically designed for interior wood surfaces that are exposed to extreme moisture, heat or household chemicals. This self-sealing system has outstanding application and sanding properties. Easy to apply with any equipment.

Here is the link to their page for more info.

I use this on all my wooden tops.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I bookmarked the link to the Krystal mfg. There is a dealer in the Houston area that is not far from me.

The client is using a vessel that will sit on the vanity top. Only the only the down pipe will be visible inside the unit.
