This bookcase (used as magazine shelves) is nothing fancy but was built using mainly two joinery hand tools (a small block was also used to ease the edges): Veritas small plow and skew rabbet plane.

Grooves and dados were cut using the plow plane and marking knife and rabbets were made with the skew rabbet plane.

Wood: Poplar
Finish: Shellac, Old Masters Wiping Stain (cherry), and Minwax finishing wax

Project was finished last fall but the winter was too cold for finishing. Finishing was finally done two weeks ago.
