A few more to add to the fleet…Oak, cherry and mahogany. All flight deck lines, hull numbers, elevator lines and ratings on the flight decks are inlaid with maple and ebony. These hold about 30 coins, make great conversation pieces and sometimes good firewood. One slip of a chisel, one slip of the router and yes they make good firewood.

Awesome work. I served on the Indy (CV-62) 93-95. Nice to see it immortalized so beautifully

Very nicely done and quite unusual as well. Good job!

Great job my friend. Looks like I may be out your way next week..18th travel day. I’ll give you a shout as I get more specifics. I really need to put in an order for one of these bad boys…do you give military discounts…haha.

Would really like to see how you do these!! I am sooo wanting to make one (ok maybe a couple of them for the challenge coins). You have any plans or progression shots you would share?
