So I had so much fun making a krenov smoother, I decided with the left over timber I had to make a jointer plane. This plane came out really good I am really happy with it. So far no problems with it. The plane measure 17” long and 2” wide. The plane is made of hard maple and the wedge and crosspin are made from walnut. thanks for looking!

Excellent Jeff. I love the wood choices.

Those shavings are about one millionth thick. Amazing performance! And beautiful.

(Smart and pretty!)

Very nice Jeff. I’d really like to make one of those my self. If you’ll pardon my ignorance…Where do you get the blade from?

I gotta get me some of that “paper wood” you have there. I wanna plane me some “paper thin” shavings like that.

Maybe it’s the plane, ya think?

Very nice work, I’m drawn in by wooden / specialty planes.

I’ll probably make one sooner or later, this looks like a good place to start.

Keep ‘em comin’ man, I like the work!

Nice job. I’ve been wanting to make a wooden hand plane for a while. Do you have any plans for this one?

sorry no plans. the back ramp is set at 45 degrees and the front ramp is set at 62 degrees. make sure the back ramp is bigger than the front ramp. Also, you should do a google search on krenov hand planes. there should be a lot of info.
