I found some New Guinea Rosewood “Just lying about” so this afternoon, and being a bit bored so I knocked these up.

(Yeah right!)

Originally I thought one of my sons asked for them but upon contacting them they all denied asking me for them.
Oh well looks like more Gear for my store room.

Something nice about working with Rosewood is you get to spend all day “Smelling the Roses” as the timber has a very nice aroma.

If you are interested in doing a simple project, I did a blog on the construction of the trays which I have just spent almost 2 weeks learning how to do, and enjoying woodworking at the same.

Life is good

Nice In, Out and um Too Hard trays Rob….seems a shame to just put them in a store room…don’t you have a desk to have them on and use?

I’m sitting here looking at the mess on my desk and wondering why I have never made any of those. Great looking trays!

Hello and thanks Dave.
Well that new router table you made is looking good to do some tray work if you wanted to.
Have a look at my Blog “NGRW In and Out Trays” although it may be a bit too basic for your skills

Thanks Guys

The trays have been annexed by Aurora and she has some sewing gear in them so it wasn’t relegated to the stock room after all!

Good looking trays! They are great additions to any desk, way better than plastic ones. Well done!
