This table I made two years ago to my middle daughter’s birthday. This is my first steps in woodworking. I am used the birch glued panel 1-1/2 ” for the top , mahagony for the top’s edges and beech for the legs? wenge for the splines and plugs. I am finished Red Mahagony Gel Stain and polyurethane lacuer. Some time later I like Greene and Greene style and I made to my elder daughter G&G style table.

Nice table! I love the G&G elements and they aren’t over the top!

I think the proportions look great, with just the right amount of heft to the legs. The thick top with splined breadboard ends are the perfect compliment to this table.

Very good work!

That’s a beauty in design, construction and finish, plus a family heirloom. It remembered me of my mum’s old kitchen table (custom made a long time ago, before I was born) and on which we had family dinners and where I did all my homework. But yours is even prettier. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful table. I like the greene and greene elements you included in the table. The workmanship looks impeccable and the finish if top notch. Great job and a beautiful table.

I love trestle tables, and your’s looks great!

I like your tusked trough tenons on the legs—very nice touch. I also like your Greene & Greene breadboard ends.

All in all, a very nice table!

Very nice job. This is one beautiful looking piece of furniture.A trestle table is a great investment that you can use in so many different ways. There are a lot more uses for a trestle table than simply as a dining room table.
