Wooden Motorcycle – I did not make this! I saw this wooden motorcycle in the front office of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum east of Birmingham AL, yesterday and asked the lady could I display it on this wood page. I asked her who made it so I could give him credit but she only knew it was a “Street Vendor” I say he did an outstanding job. It appears to be made out of pine. The third picture is a reproduction of a 1885 Maybach Eaimler Reitwagen, wood frame motorcycle made in Germany. The Museum has over 1200 Vintage and Modern motorcycle and cars and if you are ever in the vicinity of the Birmingham Track it would be well worth your time for a visit. I took me just over 2 hours, but you could spend all day. For more info see:

The manager of the Woodcraft store where I work made a miniature version of this. The intricate parts are pretty cool to look at. He said it took him forever to create.

If your into bikes there isn’t to many places cooler than Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
Three of my first bikes from the 1960’s are on displace here, not my bikes of course, and a hundred I had always wished I had owned. lol.
