This is a piece of cedar stump driftwood. I can’t seem to get a picture that does the grain justice. There is a lot of different color and swirling every which way. Really pretty piece of wood. Finished with shellac and paste wax.

Wow, what a way to bring out the character of the wood. Looks like a fun project!

I like the way you brought that Dragon to life.

Your “interpretation” is right on the mark. Always nice to see what others “see” in a piece of wood. You definitely have a great eye and an even better imagination. Nice work.

A stunning piece! That driftwood dragon has so much character and the finish is great as well. Excellent work on it.
