This is a clock I made for my mother. It’s cherry with a red mahogany stain. A lot of layers of tung oil on that.
I made it from a picture of one I found a long time ago. A few mods to simplify it enough so that I could make it and there you go. It took forever to finish, but I finally did.
You may have noticed some bad comments. These people seemed to have taken offense at my frankness.

The great thing about clocks is that people you give them to treasure them. I am willing to bet your mother does.

The time lines are interesting. 167 days ago he was just starting in woodworking, wondering about what tools he should have in his shop, and making a simple frame as his first project. Now he posts a phony looking picture of a not-so-simple clock saying that he made it for last Christmas, apparently before he made his first, simple frame project.
Most curious.
