Made this little fella today from 20 pieces of Spectraply, which were leftover scraps.

The same method of construction was used as the last one except the centre core is at 90* to the other ply’s.

It measures 2.75in x 1.75in Dia, and is finished with Shellawax Glow.

My apologies for the “crook” photos. Thanks for looking.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

This is super nice Bob. You sure do work fast. I guess you don’t have to wonder how Spectraply would look anymore. It’s a very attractive piece.

That spectra ply sure is eye catching and outstanding, makes the vase look at least 12 inches tall. In a way, it kinda reminds me of one of the characters from the movie ET, but also looks as if it could have came from King Tut’s tomb.

Totally an eye candy! Like the colors and the shape, very attractive and made of scraps. Excellent turning!
