My wife and I went to a seminar about bending wood at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin. We made this art piece as a result of our attendance. Everyone else at the seminar was teasing us that we were the ringers because I am a shop teacher and she is an art teacher.
My wife came up with the idea and I had the joinery technique. The piece is held together with bamboo skewers.

Ummm…......I guess
I feel confident I could make this without too much problem therefore I would have a hard time considering this art. Especially given the fact that I am the furthest thing from an artist.
Sorry. Just my honest opinion.

Mike, Mike, Mike…......... look at your own projects and then come comment on this one. Doesn’t matter, as long as the creator likes it.

Nice art piece. I like it. Simple yet abstract.

I like it—a lot! I could go in to how nicely the eye follows the lines and all that arty stuff but I think you know that already.
