I was given the task of designing and building this conference table for a local credit union board room. It was some big I had to assemble it on sight. I took 5 fullsheets of 4’x10’ mdf and 5 full sheets of oak laminate. It has 2” oak bullnose wrap on the edge and spalted maple panels on each end of the two leg panels.

AMATEUR!
Nah! :-)
Nothing like building a wooden aircraft carrier in a room! Let me guess. When they sell the building in 40 years, the table goes with it? That puppy won’t fit through the door right?
Great job. Looks good.

This is the single biggest piece of furnature to date for me. The board of directors gave rave reviews. they embedded an audio-visual computer cente in the top for meeting an conferences. complete with electric curtains and screen.

Hi Woodnot;
Welcome to Lumberjocks!
Great looking table. Seriously large! I can’t imagine what the final weight is.
Great job.
