Carving tool strop

About a year and a half I got into doing more woodcarving. Started going to the local club and met some nice guys and rather skilled woodcarvers. I made 2 of these double sided strops one for me and one for a friend at the carvers club. Just made from scraps, pine for the strop block and the very common “Idon’tknowwood” for the handle. I had some suede leather pieces lying around so I contact cemented them on. Mine is charged on one side with black emery and the other side with jewelers rouge. It looks so much better than my old strop made from a paint stick.
