I needed this one!!! It was cabinet job after cabinet job there for awhile. And don’t get me wrong I’m thankful to be busy but there’s something about a big ol dining table that scratches me where I itch. I milled this maple out of a little tree my landlord took down a few years ago and I’ve been waiting for just the right project to use it on. I’ve made a lot of inventions in my work but none that worked so well as this one. There are two sliding rails on each side that both support the wings when they are deployed and also clip them up under when they are not in use. This piece is accented with some nice walnut bread board ends and pegs. I got to whip out the trusty draw knife to give the edges a hand-huen look, always fun! All in all a even impressed myself on this one! Thanks for lookn jocks!!

I really admire different shades/colors of wood used together. The maple and walnut look great. The grain on the walnut looks great too.

Impressive indeed! Like the great design and joinery, looks really sturdy with those legs. Love the walnut accents and pegs.
