A few months back someone asked me if I would make a Yo-Yo, so here is my take on the project.
Here is a link to more about the Yo-Yo over on my website: http://thiswoodwork.com/make-a-wooden-yo-yo/
Be sure to let me know what you think!

Looks like a fun project!! Thanks for posting. I really like your ban saw, is it made entirely out of wood? ;)

@tomakazi
Cheers!
Yes the bandsaw is almost all wood with a couple of exceptions. It was designed by Matthias Wandel, plans for which are available at woodgears.ca

Yes ladies and gentlemen, you too can own an Alex Harris hand made yoyo, and become a yoyo champion like Tom Smuthers (of the Smothers Brothers fame)
Be the first on your block to impress your freinds, and bruise your face with an Alex Harris hand made yoyo … But wait that’s not all …
All kidding aside, that is a great job on an almost forgotten toy that we all had to have when we were kids, and to own a Duncan Sleeper, well wow you were a trickster for sure …

Awesome yo-yo! Brings back great memories but yours is way better than the plastic ones. Love it and also the band saw.
