These are some cutting boards I made for a silent auction for a c-worker of mine. They are made out of Maple and Purpleheart. Three are endgrain and one long grain. They are all about 1 1/4” thick on the endgrains. I did have some issues with the second glue up, that caused me to make a router sled and get a much larger router bit. They still took a lot of sanding to get the marks out of them. They are finished with salad bowl finish like in the tutorial by The Wood Whisperer. I also got to use my brand that my wife got me for christmas last year.

I didn’t stay until the end of the auction but they were all at $40 or more, so hopefully they helped out the family.

Great looking cutting boards! Like the contrasting woods used. I’m sure they will sell, it’s for a great cause. Good luck!
