I ran out of back board so I could not split it behind a shelf to hide the joint. The wife likes it anyway. It is made from scrap oak for the legs and some Ash I had lying around for the shelves. The back borad was made from a 4’ by 4’ piece of oak ply at 3/16” thick. Walnut stain and Endurovar gloss finish. I used screws this time but hid them under some dowel. The wife wanted this ASAP. This took a couple of days to knock out as she wanted something simple. Here is a before finish and after top coat. Weird how the flash makes it look lighter which it is not.

Very cool. The grain looks very rustic. I like it a lot.

Shelving is always good… Like the use of the odds and ends, nice looking shelf, thanks for sharing…
