Here’s a scraper that I made for a friend. He needed a longer stir stick for his stock pot he uses to make beer. He wanted a spoon but I told him I don’t have the know-how just yet, but he liked my idea of making this instead. I learned that I should have glued the head first, before turning the handle. That’s why I like woodworking, always something new to learn. I’m going to make another for my mom, plus it’s mother’s day soon, so there’s that!

Turned out good. Did you put any mineral oil or some other kind of finish on it?

Looks good and will do the job. Great turning and you have to make more.
