I received many request to see the completed photo of this project. A colossal shelving unit in the basement constructed out of construction lumber. Everything is bolted together and every joint has screws to make sure no movement in the joinery. I utilized ledger blocks for each level to assist in the assembly and setup. The ledger blocks are the secret to the assembly because it not only adds secondary support to each level but becomes a temporary ledge to support each level while you are assembling unit. The pallets and vertical posts were fabricated offsite and then brought in and assembled. It took two guys about 3 hours to complete the assembly.
