I always enjoy building things to give to someone that appreciates fine work, and hand crafted. She was overwhelmed and lost for words. I wish that the photo could have shown better detail of the grain of the drawer fronts, Found a 3” thick block of walnut that I sliced the front of the drawers in order, the grain had a wavy fan design ( like one of them Japanese fans )
The photo of the drawer side , I used dovetailed bit to use as the guides (as shown in last photo) I use the on a tool chest I made a few years ago to test them. Work real good. ( used beach wood for the slide’s )
The other side has a necklace carousel that rotates with 8 hooks.
Took two week to design it and build. made sure I signed that piece.
Sorry ! Thumbnail photo is not turned up.

Someone asked what the price would be if they ordered one . In the area of $100.00
Should have made two !

Good job! I love the dovetailed drawer slides, a detail I will definitely steal! Thanks! And BTW, $100 isn’t enough!

Shes a beauty, Doug!! I notices the drawer slides stacked like they are. Are they full extension wood slides??
