Looks like she is already enjoying her perch, before the carpet is on. Once it is complete, she’ll want a hand crafted, raised eating station too! LOL! Good work.

Good job for a great customer! I have way too many cats. They like to carve with their claws. My new shelving system, my antique woodwork. The dry wall in my bathroom. Oh yeah the posts on my old staircase.
If you can find some jute rope for the posts might last longer? On the other hand you can build a new one ( later)with your knowledge of what the cat likes. LOL!

i hope that she likes this enough to not attack my feet in the morning lol. The long side piece is covered in sisal rope when i get more im gonna do it to the rest of them
