I was tired of the mess in one of our kitchen drawers; tea bags, Splenda, more tea bags, sugar packets, more tea bags all mixed about in the drawer. I asked my wife if she would like an organizer of sorts for all the tea and tea accessories. She said sure! The pictures show what I came up with. The box is sized to fit in the drawer width wise, and the length is set to allow several rows of tea bags and Splenda, with one oversized row for larger tea bags.
The box is solid mahoghany (not sure which sub species, it was free cutoffs) with box joint corners. The box joints were all cut on a screw advance jig recently made, which I’ll post as another project shortly. There is no top to the tea box since it is designed to live in a drawer. Finish is Watco Danish Oil – Natural.

Blackbear, this is a very practical and well-made project. Congratulations on an attractive and useful design…job well done. I also liked your cribbage board series…interesting study in evolving concepts. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Great build on that great tea bag organizer. Very helpful and practical project, makes them easy to find. Well done!
