This is a recent commission for a local church. The only directions provided by the Pastor were the color of stain and construction of red oak.

The design concept was to provide a floating appearance to the top. The table is solid oak, no plywood or veneers. The inlaid cross is purpleheart. Though a little difficult to see, “In Remembrance of Me” is carved into the front skirt. Final finish was lacquer

I’ll have to go back and get better pictures, including the carved skirt. I really dislike cell phone cameras!

Great work !...The top has a parquetry vibe, which to me really makes it eyecatching

Fantastic table! Like the beautiful design, has some great details especially the inlay. Excellent work!
