I had some scraps laying around that I couldn’t really use for anything else. I found some templates in a scroll saw design book that I have.

Simple cuts that require a bit of strategy and a couple of hours.

I haven’t put any finish on this yet. I was thinking Boiled Linseed Oil and then put it up somewhere.

If you have a scroll saw. These projects are a scroll saws’ bread ‘n butter.

Nice cutting.

What do you mean by bread ‘n butter? I know a few scrollers who sell these puzzles and other scolled items and they would starve if they tried to live on a scrollsaw income.

In any case, nice scrolling.

Bread ‘n butter meaning detailed cuts are what the scroll saw is made to do.. In addition to other things of course.

I do this work for fun and personal pleasure. I’m willing to sell any of it if people are interested. Hopefully those folks that are professional scrollers are successful and will keep on doing this fine wood craft.

Thanks for the comment!

Just started scroll sawing a month or so ago and have to say this polar bear is one of the best patterns I’ve seen. What book is it from? I can’t find the template anywhere on the internet.
