Challenge – 15 is a requirement to convert a blank piece of wood (maximum size 12” X 12” X 1”) into something of use. The first criteria was a photo of the Project prior to commencement.
Fortunately my scrap bin had a small piece of Jetulong that was suitable. The measurements were 8.5” X 7” X 3/4”) which was within the maximum dimensions allowed. The horse head drawing was from my leatherwork library and by using carbon paper I could transfer the image to the workpiece.
I used a combination of full size chisels, Palm chisels and mechanical chisels fitted to my Dremel power tool. After the piece was sanded using 80 through to 400 grit I then used my Pyrography tools to add some colour to the finished project.

Thanks for showing.
-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

That is very well done. I like it.
Also, welcome to LJs. There is one more thing to add to your project posting so that it is officially in the contest. You need to add “challenge-15” as a keyword/tag.Once you do this, your project should show up here.
Just reply here or send me a PM if you have any questions.
