Cherry Hall Table. Base on the plans in the December 2012 edition of FINE WOODWORKING magazine. Instead of through mortises and tenons ( as described in the magazine) dowel joints were used throughout. The finish is semi-gloss lacquer with a paste wax finish. This is the largest piece I have made to date and was a challenge for my skills and the equipment I use.

Very nice. The Cherry is beautiful.
Well done.

-- "Fine Woodworking" is the name given to a project that takes 3 times longer than normal to finish because you used hand tools instead of power tools. ----Mike, Waukesha, WI

Nice work on this. The dowel joints will serve you well. They are really just loose tenon and mortise joinery, and should last a few lifetimes.

Like the design and execution. The wood has some beautiful grain and the finish really makes them pop. Good job!
