Table from project left-over wood

I had some maple left over from another project a few years back, and some time on my hands, so I made this little table for the wife. Hard maple, yellow shellac from flakes, and hardware from Rockler. Pegged the leg joints for effect, tapered the legs, made a sliding tenon for the drawer, but not sure where I got the design ideas, memory fading fast at my age.
Thanks for viewing.

That project has an exceptional quality and coolness for me. That is a sweet job and I’m impressed.

If that is what you can do with leftovers. What can you do with scraps?
Nice work. Really clean lines.

Beautiful and elegant table. Great joinery, wood choice and design, like the legs and the finish. Impressive!
