I really enjoyed making this table. It was a rather simple plan found in a woodworking magazine. I know others have made this same design, but sometimes it’s just fun to build something designed by someone else. The fun part is seeing how the wood you choose works out. This happens to be made of Honduras Mahogany. The grain is what is called by some “bees wing”. It is really beautiful and delicate. I finished it with hand rubbed oil. It took a long time to dry. The accents are Ebony. Part of the fun was maintaining the grain pattern through the drawer front.
