I made this a while back. But Spring Cleaning is in progress and I decided to take some pictures. The carcase is made using the “Approved ‘Norm’ Method” of ply sides, internal frames, housing (dado) joints nailed through and a back glued and pinned in place. The drawers are simple trays mounted on metal slides and split into 4 compartments. The disks are held to the front of the compartment by a shoe and plate thingummybob. The drawer fronts and carcase are 19mm beech ply edged and faced with pine (from what I had available in the workshop at the time) the finish is Danish Oil. The furniture is brass.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, I really like the thingummybob for keeping the CDs from flopping all over the place, I will have to keep that one in mind. Also, you picked out the perfect hardware for the labels and pulls, it looks great.
