The bench was had been made a while and was sitting in the store. Someone wanted to buy it and wanted me to put a hummingbird on it for her. Well, I did but they never came back so it is up for sale again. I know, I should have gotten a deposit on it before they left but, oh well, I am sure it will sell again. It is made of soft maple. The hummingbird is done with a router and very small v-groove bit. The bit was dull and it burned while cutting but it just saved me from having to paint it.

Very nice work with the router.

That bench must weigh a ton, what kind of wood is it?

Yes, the bench is heavy. It won’t blow away in a wind storm. It is made of soft maple.

Another real nice bench. We like the same style. I’m sure it will sell, I find it just takes time. Do you sell at craft fairs?

Don’t have time to set up a craft shows and husband cannot sit still long enough to stay and help me so we just sell by word of mouth and customers that come in the shop.
