I retired in 1996 and this is one of the first things I made in my work shop . I did not have a plan I just had an idea of what I wanted . The top is made of all hardwood of Oak and Walnut what ever I had that had and made it 3 inches thick . Since I have my own lumber sawed I have extra odd pieces that can be used for this .The legs are 4×4 pine and set out at the bottom and in away from the top edge so I could clamp something on the top edge . I have a bottom shelf to hold things . The top is 24×60 inches long .Gene

This is surely one of your favorite tools in your shop. It looks great. Thanks for sharing.

You’re making me regret selling the two extra vises I had awhile back. That bench really kicks.

Yes I got a Saw Stop now after I cut my thumb about 7 years ago now this saw barely makes a mark when you come in contact with the blade. The only down side is it damages the teeth of cheap blades or real expensive ones . Gene

Looks great and solid. Surely will last for many years of great use. Great job!
