This was a wet blank which I turned out thin and dried quickly. Came out really straight and nice. Some designs lend themselves to drying the way you want, and others insist on becoming something else in the kiln.

Another winner – I like this one too. I don’t have access to “wet” lumber, I’ll have to watch the neighbor’s trees a little closer and see if I can get a small log or 2 when the next one is cut down.
