Cleaning out my storage area I came across a couple nightstands that were left a alone. Someone bought the bed. Since it is very hard to sell nightstands by themselves, I heavy discounted them and ran them on Craigslist and sold them. There was a catch, the customer wanted a bed to match. The original set wasn’t one that I made and is no longer available. I did the next best thing. Built one to match.

The customer wanted something similar to my Spanish Rose bed that I use to build, with large post. They wanted to eliminate the iron add some trim under the caps and some rope molding under the top trim. I also found some carving appliques that was similar to what was on the nightstand.

Turned out very nice.

Wood: Maple Stain: Custom Red Oak variation with a glaze to tweak the color Hardware: Appliques from Custom Service Hardware
