This is a Murphy Wall Bed with a hidden desk. We built this in January 2013. The desk is incorporated into the face design and and be folded down when needed. This style is sort of a craftsman/mission style using red oak and finishing it off with Red Oak stain from Minwax. Bookcases were added to it for additional storage.

For some reason I could not find any building pictures of this project. Must have gotten busy and forgot to take them.

Here were a couple other murphy beds with desk that I built recently:

Your design of these three Murphy beds is very impressive, as well as the craftsmanship that went into them. Very nice indeed. Thanks for showing.

Great design, functional and simple and elegant all in one. Yet another idea for me work out details for and build, one day. (laughing)

This is a great project! Just what I’ve been looking for? I’m very interested in buying this or the blueprints for this project. What is the price?
