Aquarium Riser

I recently got a side job to re-finish and build a riser for an aquarium stand. The customer wanted the aquarium to be 18” taller. The original color was painted black. I used a java gel-stain to finish the project. The riser matched the rest of the stand perfectly. It was my first bow front project which made me a little nervous but it came out great. The last picture was the original color.

That does look great. I’ll bet your client was pleased. It is really attractive in that corner. Nice work!

Excellent wotk! What thickness of plywood did you use on the bowed front panel?
